Philippines' Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo gets nomination in the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) for "Best Southeast Asian Act alongside with My Tam (Vietnam), Slot Machine (Thailand), Olivia Ong (Singapore), Noah (Indonesia) and Hafiz (Malaysia).
The "The Voice Philippines" resident coach, has achieved multi-platinum albums, record-breaking concerts, blockbuster movies, high-rating TV shows, and countless endorsements now in 10 years after winning as grand champion in "Star for a Night" in 2002.
Last year, Sarah G won the title of "Best Asian Artist" (Philippines) at the 2012 MNet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong, making her the first Filipino to receive the award. She is also a 6-time Awit-Awards winner, one with "One Heart" album which won as "Best Selling Album of the Year".
Last month, Geronimo just launched her newest album "Expressions", her tenth studio album under Viva Records in ABS-CBN's sunday musical variety show ASAP 18. The album consists of ten original songs and two covers including her carrier single "Ikot Ikot".
