“Thank you, but I think, yung sa Complex Magazine is a real surprise because it’s a New York magazine. And hindi ko rin alam kung paano nila ako nakita doon. Parang I feel so proud to be Pinay, kasi parang ako lang ang Filipina doon sa list. And it was not just sexiest, parang it’s talking about I can… or parang they are recognizing lang international actresses.”

Paano kung na-discover siya internationally, iiwan ba ni KC ang career niya sa Pilipinas?

“Hindi… may tatapusin pa akong teleserye at meron din akong uumpisahang hosting job dito sa ABS-CBN.”

Jericho Rosales wins Best Actor at the Newport Beach Film Festival

Jericho Rosales grabbed the Best Actor/Outstanding Acting Achievement award for the movie "Alagwa" ("Breakaway") at the Newport Beach Film Festival held from April 25 to May 2.

Alagwa is a film tackling human trafficking in the Philippines, directed by Ian Loreños and co-produced by Jericho Rosales.

This movie stars Jericho Rosales and child star Bugoy Cariño with Leo Martinez, Smokey Manaloto, John Manalo, Jeremiah Rosales, Iñaki Ting, Garry Lim, Nanette Inventor, Jaimeson Lee, EJ Caro and Malaysian Chinese model and actress Carmen Soo.

This is now Echo's second time to win a Best Actor award in this Film Festival.
He bagged the prize in 2011 for his lead role in the drama romance film "Subject: I Love You" with Briana Evigan.
