El Presidente nanguna sa 61st FAMAS Awards



Wagi ang pelikulang pinagbidahan ni Laguna Governor ER Ejercito sa nakalipas na FAMAS Awards dahil out of 18 awards ay 14 ang inuwi dito ng El Presidente.

Ginanap ang nasabing awards night noong April 21, sa AFP Theater, hosted by Pops Fernandez and Christian Bautista.


Si Governor ER Ejercito ang kinilala bilang Best Actor para sa El Presidente at si Angel Locsin naman ang Best Actress para MMFF Entry 2012 na One More Try.

Angel Locsin considers this award as an early birthday present para sa kanyang nalalapit na kaarawan noong April 23.

Para naman sa Supporting Acts, si Cesar Montano ang tumanggap ng Best Supporting Actor para din sa El Presidente at si Ms. Jacklyn Jose naman ay ginawaran sa kanyang pagganap bilang Ina ni Anne Curtis sa A Secret Affair.

Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 Big Winners


In the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night the historical movie "El Presidente" were announced
as the big winner and Star Cinema's One More Try is the second best.

MMFF 2012 Entry: El Presidente


El Presidente or The President in english translation is the story of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first Philippine Republic's President from his initiation in to the Katipunan by Bonifacio himself, victorious battles and eventually his rise to presidency.

The film deals also his about his controversial relationship with Andres Bonifacio and his eventual execution. Starring Laguna Governor Jeorge ER Ejercito, Cesar Montano, Christopher de Leon, Cristine Reyes and Miss Nora Aunor plus a stellar cast.

MMFF 2012 Entry: Sisteraka


For the first time, the Phenomenal Queens of Metro Manila Film Festival plus The Unkaboggable Trending Box Office Queen will be one in one Mega-Blockbuster Film for this coming Christmas Time.


Siteraka is an upcoming 2012 Filipino comedy film produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films and directed by Wenn V. Deramas. This movie stars Top Kapamilya stras Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai Delas Alasa and Vice Ganda plus the Teen Breakthrough Team artists of the year Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and 500 Days to Heaven child wonder Xyriel Manabat.

Earlier today, Kris Aquino on her Morning Talk Show "Kris TV" excitedly announced for the very first time the release of Sisteraka Full Movie Trailer.

MMFF 2012 Entry: Thy Womb (Sinapupunan)


An Official Entry of Center Stage Productions to the 38th Manila Film Festival.

A story takes places on a a family who get lost in a province and start being hunted by The Strangers especially the aswang.



Starring Nora Aunor, Bembol Roco, Mercedes Cabral and Lovi Poe produced by Center Stage Productions and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the film is written by Henry Burgos and directed by 2009 Cannes Film Festival Best Director Brillante Mendoza.

Shaleha which is portrayed by Superstar Nora Aunor is a Badjao midwife in Tawi-Tawi. She struggles to cope with the irony of her own infertility amidst the deprivation of her community. A saga of island life stuck between the devil of passion and the deep blue sea of tradition.

Recently, this film competed at the 69th Venice International Film Festival and won three special prizes in the said festival including Bisato d' Oro Award for Best Actress for Aunor.

This movie is only one of the two film entry Superstar Nora Aunor is  included, the other one is El Presidente with E.R. Ejercito.
