Months ago, ABS-CBN Management confirmed and announced that Jessy Mendiola will be portraying the lead role of the first "Marias" telenovela trilogy which is Maria Mercedes. And weeks after, the name Jake Cuenca is stitched to the telenovela remake and will be playing the role of Jorge Luis, the love interest of Maria Mercedes.
Meanwhile, Director Ruel S. Bayani posted on his Instagram this photo of Jessy Mendiola together with his leading men for the Teleserye Jake Cuenca and Jason Abalos.
The photo above shows a much bolder, much fiercer, much stronger Jessy Mendiola and much hotter and much sexier Jake Cuenca and Jason Abalos in their half-naked wet look.
Maria Mercedes is originated from Mexico, played by the Mexican Superstar Thalia in 1992 and it was released in the Philippines in year 1997.
ABS-CBN Mangement hasn't announced the play date of this Chito S. Roño piece yet but the talks are they already started taping the show.
